Terms of use
The terms under which you use Tailkeeper, in the version that applies now.

1. Who provides Tailkeeper
Tailkeeper is run by the provider named in the imprint ("we"). These terms apply to the use of Tailkeeper in the browser, in the Windows app and on the phone during the test phase.
2. What the test phase is
Tailkeeper is still being developed. During the test phase you can use Tailkeeper free of charge. Features may change, go away or be unavailable for a short time. We will tell you in good time before the test phase ends. From then on new terms and possibly prices apply. Nothing costs money without your consent.
3. Your account
You need an account with a valid email address. Keep your password secret and tell us if someone else might have access. You can delete your account at any time under "My account". The deletion is scheduled for 30 days.
4. Your data and books
What you and your owner group enter stays yours. We process it only to run Tailkeeper, as the privacy policy describes. You can export your data at any time. We back up the data every day, but a backup does not replace your own copies of important documents such as contracts, invoices and maintenance records.
5. What Tailkeeper does not replace
Tailkeeper helps with billing, the flight log and maintenance. You remain responsible for airworthiness, for keeping deadlines and rules and for the billing between owners. Check amounts and deadlines before you rely on them.
6. Fair use
Use Tailkeeper only for your own aircraft and owner groups and only for lawful purposes. Do not try to access other people's data or to disrupt the service. In case of misuse we may block an account.
7. Liability
During the test phase Tailkeeper is free of charge. We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body and health. Otherwise we are liable only for breaches of essential duties and only for the foreseeable, typical damage. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
8. Changes
If these terms change materially, we tell you at least 6 weeks ahead in the app and by email. You can accept the new version until then. If you do not accept it, you can still read and export your data and delete your account, but not enter anything. Small editorial changes, such as typos or the address, apply at once; we point them out in the app.
9. Law, language and contact
German law applies. The German version of these terms is binding; this English version is a translation. Questions to support@tailkeeper.eu or in the app under "Help and contact".
