Tailkeeper started out for a co-ownership group among our friends. We are two people who build and run Tailkeeper together.
A co-ownership group among friends of ours was looking for a tool for the logbook, costs and statements. Until then everything ran on a spreadsheet, a folder and lots of emails, and at year end someone spent a weekend on the statements.
There was no software that bills day by day by share and still stays simple. So we sat down and wrote it together. The program for one group became Tailkeeper, for every co-ownership group.

Studies aeronautical engineering on a dual programme in Hamburg and flies gliders and motor gliders, in a club since 2019. In 2026 led a team in the DLR Design Challenge that designed a hydrogen-powered flight test demonstrator. Enjoys programming, from flight simulators to web apps; a Windows program for one co-ownership group grew into Tailkeeper.
