Frequent questions
Do we have to install anything?
No. Tailkeeper runs in the browser. On the phone you add the page to the home screen, and on Windows there is also an app of its own.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Flights, costs and defects can be entered on the phone without reception. They are sent as soon as the phone is online again.
We kept Excel sheets for years. What happens to the old figures?
During setup you enter each owner's balance at the start. You do not need to enter old flights; the statements begin with the start date.
What happens to our data if we stop?
You download everything as a ZIP first. Then you delete the group; after 30 days it is gone, after twelve months from the backups as well.
Can a flight school or charter customers take part?
Yes. They see only the aircraft you share. Charter customers do not even need an account, a link is enough.
What does Tailkeeper cost after the beta?
A price per aircraft, with a discount from the second one. We will publish the exact prices before launch. Nobody pays without agreeing first.
